Error Connecting Instagram

Issue: When trying to connect your Instagram account, you see an error message saying "the profile you're looking for doesn't exist."

What's happening

This is a known issue on Instagram's side, and we've already submitted a request to their team to fix it. In the meantime, we have a couple of workarounds to get you connected.

Solution 1: Try desktop (easiest option)

The simplest fix is to connect your Instagram account from a desktop computer, or from a mobile device where the Instagram app is not installed.

Solution 2: Manual connection (mobile)

If you need to connect from your phone, follow these steps:

  1. Once you see the error, switch back to your web browser to the "Let's Connect your Instagram" page

  2. Refresh the page so the button is active again

  3. Tap and hold the "Connect Instagram" button until you see "Release to copy link"

  4. Depending on your device, the link will either:

    1. Copy to your clipboard immediately, OR

    2. Show you where to copy it manually (some devices prevent direct clipboard access for security)

  5. Paste the copied link directly into your browser

  6. Complete the authorization on Instagram

  7. Your account will be connected!
