Once you’ve created your Experience, head over to the Overview section — this is where you can personalize the look and first impression of your guide.
Two important things live here: Intro Text and Guide Color.
Let’s break them down:
📝 Intro Text: Set the Stage
Your Intro Text is the first thing your audience sees after they click your link — whether it’s on your Instagram bio, website, email, or anywhere else.
Think of it like a welcome message. It’s where you tell people what they’re about to get and why it’s worth it.
Here’s a great example from Jen in Chicago:
“You’re coming to Chicago? You’re in for a treat. Whether you’re here for deep dish or dive bars, this guide pulls together my absolute favorites across the city. Answer a few quick questions so I can personalize it to your vibe!”
Tips for writing yours:
Let your personality shine through
Mention what’s in the guide (ex: food recs, activities, neighborhoods)
Be clear that they’re about to get a personalized experience
🎨 Guide Color: Make It Yours
This is your guide’s signature look — the base color that shows up on:
Buttons
Borders
Icons
Overall vibe
Pick something that feels aligned with your brand, aesthetic, or personality. You can always come back and tweak it later.
Pro Tip: If you’re sharing this guide through your personal brand or creator page, match your color to your other channels for a clean, cohesive feel.
🚀 Why It Matters
Your Intro Text draws people in.
Your Color makes your guide feel like it came from you.
Both of these work together to make your guide more inviting, more recognizable, and more personal — before the personalization even begins.
Set them up once and let your guide speak for you.
